Yamaguchi Kumiko, enroll as a teacher in Shirokin Gakuen with hopes of making a difference in the students' lives. Things get harder when she is trusted to be ahomeroom teacher of 3-D, yhe hardest class to maintain in the school. The students is giving lots of trouble to her. The hardest part is, they don't trust teacher at all. All the student try to bully her in order to make her quit.

Sawada Shin, a lazy but bright student in that class, also the leader notice some difference with Yamaguchi. Less they know, she is actually the 4th generation heir to the Oedo Group, a notorious yakuza clan. Even though her family would like her to inherit the title, but the have accept the fact that she would rather be a teacher.

With hardship they went through together, finally they learn to respect her because of her devotion to them. They even became friends. They also gave her a nickname - Yankumi.
