A story of pure love, distance in 2 social rank. Kanzaki Hiroto runs a ship repair factory beset with a financial problem meets with Tsukioka Nao, a doughter of jewelry shop owner, Star Jewelry. At 20 years old, they fall in love for the first time.

As in different status, the face a lots of obstacle. To make it hard, Hiroto always create a wall in him so that he would not be hurt by others. Living with a factory problem, together with a mother and a little brother who is sick, he soon forgot how to smile, untill Nao came. Nao, an innocent girl and always speaks what ever she's thinking, open up Hiroto heart.

They start to separate when Nao family forbidance them to be together. To make it worse, Nao sickness is coming back. As a lover, they make a promise to light up at their places for several years. Third years come, no light coming from Nao makes Hiroto give her up. At the fourth years, a light coming from Nao but with no reply. Thinking that its all the ending, they move up with their live separetely.

Seeing each other again, makes the love coming back. At that time, Nao is getting married and Hiroto is working with a big company. Meeting back makes Nao in love back, since she didn't forget Hiroto. Its just that Hiroto miss understand about the situation before, makes him cold. As the marriage is cancel, Nao decide to go away, thinking that Hiroto didn't love her anymore. In Nao heart, there is always Hiroto.
